Registration Following the successful completion of this qualification, students can apply to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for registration as an Enrolled Nurse. The student must meet the requirements of AHPRA to gain registration. Candidates will also undertake a short interview following their completion of the indicator tool. At Orientation, students will be required to supply a National Police Check and a Hepatitis B Schedule. During Orientation, students will also be required to submit a Blue Card for Working with Children, or an Authority to Confirm a Current Blue Card (the teaching team will assist with this on the day). Students will also be required to obtain a First Aid Certificate (including CPR). During the initial information session, the teaching team will cover these requirements in detail to ensure students are prepared for enrolment and Orientation. Entry into this qualification is via the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) or via direct application toTAFE Queensland South West. Please note that students who apply through QTAC are still required to attend an Information Session prior to enrolment. Students who apply directly to TAFE Queensland South West will either be required to submit an application form, or contact us directly to speak with a teacher and apply via telephone.
