The goals of the symposia are: 1. Enhance the ability of participants in identification, evaluation and care of common and important developmental and neurological disorders in children; This includes autism, behavioral problems, Fragile X syndrome, sleep disorders, acute weakness, pain, cerebral palsy, depression, autoimmune encephalitis, multiple sclerosis, and neuromyelitis optica. 2. Update participants on front-line advancements and hot topics in general pediatric neurology, neuromuscular disorders, and autoimmune neurology. This include critical care pediatric neurology, increased intracranial hypertension, brachial plexopathy, metabolic myopathies, pulmonary care, and physical therapy in neuromuscular patients. 3. Update participates on cutting-edge developments including special populations, status epilepticus, new medications, surgical management, and cortical function localization Credit Designation The Duke University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
