Wednesday Night Live for February 18th
Simple Suppers are from 6:00-6:50 with late arrival &
take out orders available. Please sign up by Monday
morning prior to the Wednesday meal (and mark the
late arrival or take out section, if applicable). Sign up
sheets are outside the Youth Room and in the hallway
outside the Narthex (by the Flower Chart)
Cost of the meals are: $5.00 adult, $3.00 third grade &
under, maximum $15 per family
Menu: Potato Soup and Deli Meat Sandwiches
Followed by a 7:00 pm Ash Wednesday service in the
Sanctuary
Kimball is responsible for the Night Shelter from Feb.

Shrove Tuesday
Please plan to attend the annual pancake supper on
Shrove Tuesday, February 17, 2015. We will begin
serving pancakes and sausage at 5:45 pm. A freewill
offering will be accepted with all proceeds to benefit
the Youth mission trip. We look forward to seeing you
and serving you on the 17th.

There will be a Congregational Meeting in the
Sanctuary about our HVAC (Heating and Air
Conditioning) on Sunday, March 1 @ 10:00 am All
are encouraged to attend.
Kimball will be joining Covenant Presbyterian,
Bethpage Presbyterian USA, and Gilwood
Presbyterian to observe World Day of Prayer on
March 6th at 7pm. The World Day of Prayer is a
movement initiated and carried out by women in more
than 170 countries which brings together many races,
cultures and traditions in a closer fellowship and
understanding. Please mark your calendar. Meet at
6:30pm and carpool to Gilwood. All are
invited. Much prayer for the world is needed.

1st Communion Class CELEBRATION
TODAY we are celebrating our 1st Communion
Milestone! Please join with me and welcome our new
communicants to the Table! We will be celebrating
that in both services!
Confirmation Info: If you were not at the
confirmation meeting, please see Liz for the
information and the schedule for Camp, which will be
April 24-26th at Lutheridge. We expect all to attend!

We will be meeting THIS WEDNESDAY after the Ash
Wednesday service for Soup and Sandwiches. If you

We will start talking about the May Retreat to Kure
Beach which will be May 18th-21st. More info to

Theology on Tap
Feb 21st @ 5:30pm at the home of Rev. Scott &
Kim Swix, 278 Arrow Point Lane-Davidson, NC
28036. We will meet for discussion and appetizers.
Friends are always welcome and you can bring your
kids too! Cost is $5.00 per couple to help with cost
of the Sitter. Please bring a dish to share and a
beverage of your choice.
Food for Friends Pantry
Food for Friends Pantry will pick up this week. If you
are able, please bring canned food and non
perishables to church anytime, as they are running
low. Our next Food Sunday is NEXT Sunday,
Feb 22nd.
LYO Assembly for MS/HS Group

to get them, along with payments. The cost to the
families is $60.00 which can be put into the
offering plate and earmarked LYO. We need all

Service Saturdays for the Entire Congregation
The Youth and Family/Faith Formation Team would
like to host a Service Saturday in March. We would
be doing 8-10 projects, some at the church and some
out in our community. If you have a need, please
contact Liz. More info to come!!
2015 ELCA Youth Gathering
We have paid our deposit for travel and for the Gathering.
We started in Feb collecting $$ for food. The cost for
food is $240.00 and can be paid each month to help
spread it out.
If you pay $40.00 per month until June, then you have
your account full! You can put checks in the offering
plate earmarked Youth gathering and the child attending.
If you have not paid the registration fee, please do so as
soon as possible.
Adverse Weather Closings
Whether rain, snow, sleet or shine Kimball normally expects to gather for worship. However, if
particularly unsafe weather conditions requires us to cancel worship services or other events we will
endeavor to inform folks via TV, internet and phone. Kimball will publicly announce the cancellation via:
email, our website (www.kimballchurch.org), and WSOC TV (channel 9, www.wsoctv.com).

Sunday School and after the 11:00
service. All proceeds will go toward
