Senior Yoga With Randi - This senior yoga is
a perfect opportunity to stretch out sore
muscles and relax. Come try out Senior
Yoga on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. Randi
focuses on slow moving, chair, and wallassisted movements, with an emphasis
on deep breathing and slow, simple, safe,
yoga-like moves.
Brain & Balance with Wendy - Join us every
Monday at 10:00 a.m. for Brain and
Balance. This is a unique combination
of exercises designed to help you work
through mental problems that will stimulate
your brain and improve brain function
combined with physical movements that
will increase your balance and strength for
everyday activities!
Balance & Mobility with Patty - Increase
your mobility and flexibility, enhance
your balance and gain strength in this
class designed specifically for seniors on
Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Video Exercise - Another great way to exercise
is by watching a video that is shown on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays
at The Wexford. It is a 30 minute DVD that
has a combination of sitting and standing
exercises. Please refer to your calendar
about the times. Come try it out and do
what you can!
Walking Group - What a great way to start
your day! You can take a walk with your
neighbors. Every Monday, Wednesday
and Friday at 9:00 a.m. the walking group
meets in the West Side Dining Room and
begins their walk around the 2nd floor.

Food Committee
How is your dining experience at The
Wexford? Are you craving a specific meal
that you have not seen on the menu?
Your opportunity to share comments about
your dining experience happens the third
Monday of each month. You are invited
to the Food Committee meeting held in
the Private Dining Room at 2:00 p.m.
Karen and the kitchen staff are always
present at these meetings. They welcome
your feedback on menu options, ways
to enhance the dining experience, and
requests for any dishes not currently on
the menu. This month, the meeting is
scheduled for Monday, February 16th.

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE WEXFORD?
Hawaiian Paradise Week
Start packing your bags and lathering on the
sunscreen because we are taking a Winter
Vacation to Hawaii! We arrive in Hawaii on
Monday, February 9th with a week full of fun
activities and events starting with our Luau
Luncheon! Remember this trip is all inclusive
unless you want to pamper yourself with a
massage or manicure! Check the schedule
below for the list of events and happenings
for the week.
Luau Luncheon
Aloha! We are starting our Hawaiian Paradise
week off with a Luau Luncheon in the Dining
Room on Monday, February 9th for our noon
meal. We will provide a Hawaiian themed
menu and drinks! The alternative menu will
also be available. Come dressed in your best
Hawaiian attire including flower printed shirts,
bright colors, sunglasses, etc.!
Musical Monday: Blue Hawaii
Make your way to the Activity Room on
Monday, February 9th at 7:00 p.m. for our
evening showing of Blue Hawaii. We will be
serving Blue Hawaii drinks while you enjoy this
Elvis musical production.
Maui Bingo
Come one, come all to our Maui Bingo activity
on Tuesday, February 10th at 2:30 p.m.
in the Activity Room. It is FREE for you to
play but you will have the opportunity to win
prizes. Refreshments will be provided. You

Snow Cone and Popcorn Social

Entertainer Lynn Devlin is leading a Luau style

Loveland Concert Band: Winter Concert
The Loveland Concert Band, directed by
Scott Schlup, and the cast of "Crazy for You"
will perform a Winter Concert on Sunday,
February 15th celebrating the music of
George Gershwin. This concert is FREE but
also includes their annual scholarship raffle
for prizes, where they raise money to provide
scholarships to four seniors in the Thompson
Valley School District. This is a great chance
to be entertained with some great music and
win a prize, such as a restaurant certificate,
tickets to the theater, or a certificate for
shopping at the mall. In presenting the Annual
Scholarship Raffle at this concert at least 15
prizes will be available. Tickets ($2 each, 6
for $10, 13 for $20) are available from band
members and at the concert. The van leaves
at 6:20 p.m. for Mountain View High School.

If you see trips you would like to attend
please sign-up in the activity book. Chelsea
needs your name 48 hours prior to leaving
The Wexford. We need a minimum of 5
people per trip, unless otherwise stated.
Please be courteous and call if you cannot
attend an excursion. We would like to
be able to offer those on the wait list an
opportunity to replace you if you are unable

Loveland Concert Band: Winter Concert
The Loveland Concert Band, directed by
Scott Schlup, and the cast of "Crazy for You"
will perform a Winter Concert on Sunday,
February 15th celebrating the music of
George Gershwin. This concert is FREE but
also includes their annual scholarship raffle
for prizes, where they raise money to provide
scholarships to four seniors in the Thompson
Valley School District. This is a great chance
to be entertained with some great music and
win a prize, such as a restaurant certificate,
tickets to the theater, or a certificate for
shopping at the mall. In presenting the Annual
Scholarship Raffle at this concert at least 15
prizes will be available. Tickets ($2 each, 6
for $10, 13 for $20) are available from band
members and at the concert. The van leaves
at 6:20 p.m. for Mountain View High School.

Senior Yoga With Randi - This senior yoga is
a perfect opportunity to stretch out sore
muscles and relax. Come try out Senior
Yoga on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. Randi
focuses on slow moving, chair, and wallassisted movements, with an emphasis
on deep breathing and slow, simple, safe,
yoga-like moves.
Brain & Balance with Wendy - Join us every
Monday at 10:00 a.m. for Brain and
Balance. This is a unique combination
of exercises designed to help you work
through mental problems that will stimulate
your brain and improve brain function
combined with physical movements that
will increase your balance and strength for

class designed specifically for seniors on

Video Exercise - Another great way to exercise
is by watching a video that is shown on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays
at The Wexford. It is a 30 minute DVD that
has a combination of sitting and standing
exercises. Please refer to your calendar

Walking Group - What a great way to start
your day! You can take a walk with your
neighbors. Every Monday, Wednesday
and Friday at 9:00 a.m. the walking group
meets in the West Side Dining Room and
begins their walk around the 2nd floor.

a.m. on Tuesday, February 10th. What
activities do you want to continue seeing
on the calendar? What new activities can
we add to the calendar? Don’t miss out on
this opportunity to speak up for the events,
hobbies, and activities you enjoy!
Food Committee
How is your dining experience at The
Wexford? Are you craving a specific meal
that you have not seen on the menu?
Your opportunity to share comments about
your dining experience happens the third
Monday of each month. You are invited
to the Food Committee meeting held in
the Private Dining Room at 2:00 p.m.
Karen and the kitchen staff are always
present at these meetings. They welcome
your feedback on menu options, ways
to enhance the dining experience, and
requests for any dishes not currently on
the menu. This month, the meeting is
scheduled for Monday, February 16th.

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE WEXFORD?
Hawaiian Paradise Week
Start packing your bags and lathering on the
sunscreen because we are taking a Winter
Vacation to Hawaii! We arrive in Hawaii on
Monday, February 9th with a week full of fun
activities and events starting with our Luau
Luncheon! Remember this trip is all inclusive
unless you want to pamper yourself with a
massage or manicure! Check the schedule
below for the list of events and happenings
for the week.
Luau Luncheon
Aloha! We are starting our Hawaiian Paradise
week off with a Luau Luncheon in the Dining
Room on Monday, February 9th for our noon
meal. We will provide a Hawaiian themed
menu and drinks! The alternative menu will
also be available. Come dressed in your best
Hawaiian attire including flower printed shirts,
bright colors, sunglasses, etc.!
Musical Monday: Blue Hawaii
Make your way to the Activity Room on
Monday, February 9th at 7:00 p.m. for our
evening showing of Blue Hawaii. We will be
serving Blue Hawaii drinks while you enjoy this
Elvis musical production.
Maui Bingo
Come one, come all to our Maui Bingo activity
on Tuesday, February 10th at 2:30 p.m.
in the Activity Room. It is FREE for you to
play but you will have the opportunity to win
prizes. Refreshments will be provided. You
have nothing to lose in this afternoon of fun,
games, and prizes!
Snow Cone and Popcorn Social
The staff would like you to be able to meet
and socialize with your fellow vacationers.
Make sure to join us in the Activity Room
from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a snow
cone to cool you off or some popcorn to
snack on! This relaxing event takes
place on Wednesday, February 11th.

it is all FREE! If you have never been to craft

Hawaiian Sing-A-Long
Entertainer Lynn Devlin is leading a Luau style
sing-along in the Town Hall. The event starts
at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 12th.

Valentine Beach Party
As our vacation comes to a close on Friday,
