Dale E. Jones Named CEO of Diversified Search
Founder Judith M. von Seldeneck to Continue as Chairman
Philadelphia, PA — Diversified Search (Diversified), founded in 1974 and one of the nation’s top
ten executive search firms, has announced that Dale E. Jones, President of Diversified, has also
been named Chief Executive Officer. Judith M. von Seldeneck, founder of Diversified Search,
will continue to play an active role in the firm as Chairman.
Jones, an experienced and sought-after advisor on leadership issues, is a seasoned search
professional who joined Diversified in 2013. He was previously Vice Chairman and partner at
Heidrick & Struggles International. Prior to entering search, Jones held a series of positions in
business with increasing responsibility.

who founded Diversified over 40 years ago. “In his new role, a part of the firm’s succession

In addition to his responsibilities at Diversified, Jones is active on boards, in global humanitarian
efforts and in civic endeavors. He serves on the Board of Directors at Kohl’s Corporation
(NYSE:KSS) and Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. Prior to joining Northwestern’s
board, he was a corporate director for Hughes Supply, a NYSE-traded company, which was
acquired by The Home Depot in 2006. Dale is a trustee for Morehouse College and Princeton
Theological Seminary.
Jones has also served as CEO of a global water initiative that provides clean drinking water to
villages in sub-Saharan Africa, and has participated in the World Economic Forum on Africa and
the Corporate Council on Africa.
Jones earned a bachelor's degree at Morehouse College in Atlanta.
