Subject: Issue of Photo Copies, Revaluation, and Challenge Valuation of
Answer Books of December 2014 Examinations.
Ref: Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor’s orders dated 20. 02.2015.
The candidates who have appeared for December 2014 Law Examinations
of Karnataka State Law University can apply for Issue of Photo Copy of their
Answer Books and Revaluation of their Answer Books.
In case, any responsible person/ candidate makes a charge that a
particular student has been favored or disfavored by KSLU either by giving very
high marks or low marks, there is provision for challenging the valuation of
particular candidate. And this application should be addressed to Hon’ble ViceChancellor. In case the charge is proved, 50% of the amount will be refunded.
Application Forms for all above provisions are available in colleges and
also in university web site www.kslu.ac.in.
Fees particulars are as follows:
1. Issue of Photo Copy of Answer Book
2. Revaluation of Answer Book
3. Challenge Valuation
Rs. 400/- per paper.
Rs.500/- per Paper.
Rs.2,100/- per paper.
The fees is to be paid in form of demand draft payable to Finance Officer,
Karnataka State Law University, Hubli. Bank Name & Address: State Bank of
India KSLU Branch, Navanagar, Hubli Branch (Branch Code: 13201)
Last Dates for receipt of above applications at University Office are as
follows:

LL. M. Candidates may apply for challenge valuation and not revaluation.
Revaluation and Challenge valuation for same Paper is not permitted.
The Principals of all affiliated colleges are hereby informed to bring the
contents of this notification to the notice of all students of their colleges.
Further, the Principals are requested neither to forward late application nor
influence the Examination Section to accept the late application on the ground
that the candidate has taken DD before stipulated time.
However, colleges are particularly requested to send the applications for
Photo Copies immediately as and when applied by candidates rather than on last
date. This will help KSLU to send photo copies as early as possible, which in turn
help students to apply for RV after going through photo copy.
There is no provision in KSLU ordinances to refund the fees of
Revaluation. However the fees of Challenge Valuation is refunded as per rules in
case of increase of marks.
