those affected by Galactosemia. To network
with Professionals to inspire the treatment
and advanced research of Galactosemia.
• Galactosemia is a rare, genetic metabolic
disorder that inhibits the body’s ability to
break down lactose and galactose.
• Side effects include kidney failure, liver
failure, cataracts brain damage, ovarian
failure, speech disorders, learning disabilities
and neurological disorders.
