Information Technology is an essential element in sustainable, modern healthcare. It creates efficiency, effectiveness and transparency for everyone involved and facilitates cross-sectoral healthcare with a focus on the patient.
ConhIT is an industrial fair, congress, and academy with a
variety of networking events.
From 14 to 16 April 2015 the full range of Health IT will be
presented at conhIT. In addition to offering a complete
market overview conhIT, Europe’s largest event with a
focus on healthcare IT, provides outstanding opportunities
for advanced training and networking. At conhIT manufacturers and users as well as representatives of politics, science
and administrations will be gathering to discuss industry
developments, exchange views and learn from each other’s
experiences. In 2015 more than 6,500 visitors are expected
to visit the 360 plus exhibitors.
Use the conhIT app which will be available in time for the
event from the App Store and Google Play for a more effective conhIT visit.
Make sure you are in Berlin next spring when the slogan
will again be “Connecting Healthcare IT“.

CONGRESS
INDUSTRIAL FAIR
Every morning experts will be reporting on health IT innovations and trends under the slogan “Shaping the future with
health IT”. The reports will be spread over a total of 18 sessions. The lectures are designed interactively to provide space
for a lively exchange between speakers and listeners. Visitors
can look forward to a high-class, diversified congress programme, planned by representatives of major target groups
with the information and training needs of the healthcare IT
industry strongly in mind.
At conhIT the entire range of Healthcare IT products and
services will be on show upon an area occupying over 13,500
square metres. No other event has such a wide-ranging and
concentrated display of products and services as conhIT in
Berlin. All the leading market players will be represented at the
Industrial Fair. Combined stands from Austria, Denmark, the
Netherlands and Switzerland as well as themed areas will round
off the event.

ACADEMY
The four seminars at the conhIT academy will consider
selected health IT issues in detail. The lecturers will
generously allocate their time for learning, discussing and
exercising. Each seminar is limited to 40 participants, so early
registration is strongly recommended. Academy seminars
will only be held in German.
NETWORKING
conhIT also provides the platform where all those involved in
this sector can engage in discussions and networking on
current topics. Numerous events are being provided, in
collaboration with national and international IT and healthcare institutions, where relevant topics can be discussed and
efforts can be made jointly to promote issues of particular
concern to the industry. Contacts among the participants are
facilitated through the use of traditional networking formats.
conhIT Career Highlights
In addition to job vacancies offered at the conhIT job
exchange, conhIT exhibitors are featured as potential
employers in the conhIT Careers Guide. The Recruiting Day
on April 15, 2015 presents outstanding opportunities for
students as well as for career newcomers and specialists.
04
Innovative solutions for networked and mobile health services
are focused on the “mobile health ZONE“ in Hall 4.2. A varied
program nurturing dialog for pioneering ideas will be presented
on the affiliated lecture area.

USABILITY ON MOBILE SYSTEMS
PANEL DISCUSSIONS & PRESENTATIONS
Usability is increasingly understood as an integral part of
product quality, particularly since Google, Apple and
Microsoft have introduced mobile systems.
Usability on mobile systems is not self-evident. The majority
of available apps on the market fail to satisfy the user.
The digital consultation – Fashion or less workload?
– Doctors in dispute
Organizer: kma – Das Gesundheitswirtschaftsmagazin
Target group
The workshop is aimed at developers, who want to design
ergonomic mobile solutions as well as IT staff, who want to
assess usability.
Your benefits
You learn what you have to pay attention to if you want to
evaluate or develop a mobile app user Interface. Which
principles must always be observed? How are the modes of
interaction specified from a user perspective, to “pre-program“
intuitive use? These and other questions will be answered during the seminar and rehearsed in practical exercises. At the end
of the seminar there is the possibility of verifying what has been
learned in a test.

PROCESSING CONTRACT DATA
IT RISK MANAGEMENT
Do questions regarding ADV contracts cause you pain? No wonder, you are not a lawyer. Nevertheless, creating and testing
of ADV contracts belong to your tasks. In this workshop you
will get an overview of ADV contracting and gain important
tools for your working with it. You will talk with the lecturers about the essential technical, organizational and legal steps
from planning to the final solution. Questions of this area will
be discussed that range to dealing with the health data protection law requirements.
The aim of the seminar is to introduce procedures and general
conditions for an IT risk management (IT-RM) and to provide
practical experience. Starting with the strategic IT-RM structure the IT-RM-Process is then shown in its parts; the general
conditions are shown and specified according to the sensitive
infrastructure of a hospital. After that the practical implementation of an IT-RM is in focus. On the one hand, based upon
the experience of an IT Manager in-between requirements
and available resources and IT-RM in-between the worlds of IT
and medical technology. As a result, the participants should be
able evaluate their action in IT-RM and to name requirements.
At the end of the seminar there is the possibility of verifying
what has been learned in a test.
You will learn how to negotiate and write good ADV contracts.
Lawyers and a consultant will view the subject from different
angles and disclose their tips and tricks. That will ensure that,
despite all the legal formulations, you will always understand
what is really meant. At the end of the seminar there is the possibility of verifying what has been learned in a test.

MEDICATION PROCESSES IN HOSPITALS
The medication process is a very important part in patient care
and requires collaboration of professional and intersectoral
groups. The process is influenced by human, technical and procedural factors (work environment, organization, device technology, information technology, etc.). The aim is an individualized drug therapy with an optimized risk-benefit ratio that can
withstand economic status checks, as well as minimizing the
risks for patients and staff by faulty processes and products.
In the seminar, the medication process is viewed from different perspectives – pharmacist, doctor, care, information technology, and patient – and the current situation is compared
with the target process. Suggestions for approaching the target process are offered with the aim of feasibility in clinical
routine combined with highest possible drug safety. Industry
requirements are derived to implement an efficient, high-performance and comfortable medication process.
