Make it Local
Centerplate is pleased to offer these very tasty dishes to celebrate the rich
history and culinary traditions of Seattle. We wholeheartedly agree with the
vision that food should have — must have — a strong connection to its city and
region. Handed down from generation to generation, the recipes and techniques
used to inspire our Seattle menus are a faithful interpretation of delicious foods
from Washington State. Our culinary team is proud to prepare these local
specialties using regionally sourced ingredients brought to our attention by
local purveyors. Enjoy!

Very Vegan
We developed these items in collaboration with Makini Howell
of Plum Bistro.
Makini Howell is the culinary artist behind the
popular Seattle based Plum Bistro Restaurant
and author of Plum…Gratifying Vegan Dishes.
As a lifelong vegan, Makini left her job in the
fashion industry to pursue her passion for
creating delicious plant-based food. Recently,
Howell transformed her renowned Plum Cafe
into Sugar Plum, Seattle’s first vegan ice creamery and sweet shop.
Influenced by the northwest and their seasonal abundance in
fruits and veggies, Makini infuses bold colors and spices into
all her dishes, making non–vegan believers instant followers.
We invite you to try these new dishes. Your view of vegan food
may never be the same. Enjoy!

Bake it Local
We have some very particular ideas about the
kind and quality of desserts that you and your
guests should be able to get here at Safeco
Field so we’ve asked a local artisan baker to
help us step up our dessert game this year.
They are locally made, inventive and sporty
and best of all, they are delicious and fun!
Growing up, my favorite thing for lunch was a frosted fruit pie.
It was a treat packed with hidden sentiment as my Mom was an
accomplished home cook — who cooked with flare and prided
herself on making things from scratch.
Today, my vision for A la Mode Pies is not just to re-create Mom’s
recipes, but reinvent them using imagination and high-quality
ingredients. Quite simply, exceptional pie — the kind Mom would
be proud to serve.

At Centerplate we are always looking for
emerging trends in restaurants and the
food world that we can be the first to
translate into sports settings. The craft
cocktail movement is one such trend that
we are excited to offer to our suite clients.
There’s a national movement to drink higher
quality beverages that are thoughtfully
prepared with the finest ingredients, and we think the trend
is perfect for suite entertaining.
