Local Notice to Mariners
Notice: 06 - 15 NZ Offshore Powerboat Racing Beachlands Saturday
28 February 2015 , 1300 hrs -1430 hrs
The New Zealand Offshore Powerboat Association will be holding a powerboat race off
Beachlands on Saturday 28th February 2015. The race will start at 1300 hours and finish
no later than 1430 hours.
The race course area will be marked and the area reserved for the competing Offshore
Power craft.
During these hours the provisions of Auckland Council Navigation Safety Bylaw clauses
14 (a) and (c) the 5 knot rule are suspended with respect to competing craft and any
emergency vessels only.
All mariners are warned to navigate with caution during this event and to follow
instructions given by Course Marshals.
