How does this system
benefit students?
Conroe ISD utilizes a weighted grade point
system that
allows students taking advanced courses to
receive a
GPA greater than 4.0. Students with a
cumulative GPA
greater than 4.0 will be able to take these
courses
without suffering the negative impact on their
GPA
How many courses may a
student
take as GPA exempt?
Students may exempt up to two credits during their
high school career. Students are limited to one credit
of
exemption during their junior year. If a student does
not take any courses as GPA exempt during their
junior
year, they may take up to two credits exempt during
their senior year.
