The Artist Holiday
OUR MISSION
T he artist holiday is a four day retreat that provides committed industr y
professionals with a new way to explore, experience, and create art in
various interconnected mediums. By expanding each artist’s breadth and
de pth of talent, the retreat refreshes the creative mind.
It’s all about the process. T hrough hands-on work in various mediums
guided by talented craftsmen, we find inspiration and nurture our selves.
Exercising our minds to think in unique ways builds confidence and cre ativity in our existing work and businesses and is the only way leader s in
the wedding industr y build on their successes and continue to command
their places at the top. We hope to lear n and g row as a g roup to better
under stand our place as artists in a competitive and g rowing market and
to build a community of like-minded individuals who share the same
drive to succeed.
Spend three days in outside Paris, France, practicing the art of photog raphy, f loral design, and styling with passionate and enthusiastic artists Jen Huang, Kurt Boomer, Ginny Au and Amy Mer rick. Jen and Kurt will
be leading four exquisite shoots styled on site. Also, explore the beauty
sur rounding the French countr yside and enjoy delicious picnic meals
with fellow attendees and speaker s.
Most importantly, remember that a holiday isn’t a “vacation.” Rather it
is a time we set aside to seek tranquility and truth, a time to find ourselves and our paths. T he artist holiday is about making a choice in your
business to imp rove and refine your life’s work.
