Understanding Cataracts
and Cataract Surgery
Scott Turner, M.D.
Do you have clouded, blurred or dim vision? Do you have trouble
seeing at night? Are you sensitive to light and glare? Do you see
“halos” around lights? Have you noticed a fading or yellowing of
the colors you see? If your answer to these questions is yes, you
might have cataracts. Scott Turner, M.D., Ophthalmology is knowledgeable about cataracts and treatments for restoring vision. At our
next Healthy Conversation he will discuss:
• What are cataracts?
• What are other possible causes for my vision problems?
• What causes cataracts?
• How are cataracts treated?
• Do I need cataract surgery?
• What are the potential risks for cataract surgery?
• How will I know if my cataracts are getting worse?
