Hosam Almaaz- Proposals & Planning Manager at SIGMA Engineering L.L.C.
Hosam is professional engineer with more than 11 years of experience in manufacturing,
engineering and construction industries, he has worked with various multinational companies
assisting them in both technical and commercial aspects.
He has extensive knowledge and experience of the construction process and cost management
service delivery, from pre-concept feasibilities through to project close out.
Hosam is experienced in commercial and contract management, with extensive use of the FIDIC
suite of contracts. He has experience in preparing and defending claims for extension of time,
advising on evaluation of variations and measurement issues, and fast-track tendering and
procurement, international and domestic arbitration, and commercial mediation.
Currently working for SIGMA Engineering L.L.C. handling Projects Control Department, and
supporting the Estimation & Tendering Department in defining the bidding strategy, preparing
tender programs and projects resource allocation and pricing, value engineering and bid submission
and negotiation.
Hosam is RICS Accredited Civil Commercial Mediator, registered with PMI since 2006 and member
since 2014,
He is married and a father of two boys.
