HR RECRUITMENT CO-ORDINATOR
The role of Human Resources – Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for managing the
end to end recruitment process for Pilot recruitment across our organisation. This role
is based in the Human Resources Division – Hangar Building, Nasoso Road, Nadi Airport.
You will work closely with Senior Management to strategically and proactively ensure
that the recruitment function supports the operational success of the organisation. This
includes end to end recruitment, obtaining requirements for recruitment.
You will write advertisements in selected medium, job advertisements, screening of
resumes, telephone screening and follow up resumes. You will Liaising with Manager
Employee Relations and relevant Flight Operations Managers regarding interviews,
observation shifts and suitability for employment including reference checking. You will
also manage all 3rd Party Recruitment Agency requirements.
If you are the successful candidate, you will work in a team of HR professionals and be
part of a fantastic cohesive working environment. To be successful in the role you must
be a HR professional who has held a similar position for a minimum of at least 2 years
and possess degree qualification in Human Resources Management, you must have
attention for detail, excellent written and communication skills and have the ability to deal

FINANCE ASSISTANT
This position is based at the Finance Division, Hangar Building, Nasoso Road, Nadi
Airport.
As the Finance Assistant you are required to process airline coupons/invoices and
airway bills. Liaise with other Airlines, Sales Agents /Travel Centers/Suppliers where
necessary in verifying transaction details. Prepare reconciliation of balance accounts.
Assist in maintaining internal controls of the Department. Preparing tax payments to the
relevant authorities. Proper maintenance of General Ledger.
To be successful in the role you must have a tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting
or related field. Previous work experience in similar position will be an advantage. Must
possess excellent excel skills. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. A strong team
player and able to bring in energy, drive and commitment into the role. You must possess
an excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
CABIN TRADESPERSON – 5 POSITIONS
FINANCIAL ANALYST - COMPLIANCE (TAX & REGULATORY)
This role is based at the Fiji Airways Hangar in Nadi, under the Aircraft Maintenance &
Workshop Department and reporting to the Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator.
This position is based at the Finance Division – Hangar Building, Nasoso Road, Nadi
Airport.
The successful incumbent will maintain Aircraft IFE reliability and Cabin appearance,
presentation in line with our customers’ expectations and Airline’s standards.
As the Financial Analyst – Compliance (Tax & Regulatory) you will deliver all external
financial reporting to third parties such as government agencies, suppliers, lessors and
banks. The reporting will range from the provision of statistics to the delivery of financial
reports obligated by covenant and other requirements. You will be required to
continuously assess Air Pacific Limited (APL) tax obligations in both Fiji and overseas
territories in order to ensure corporate compliance with fiscal regulations. You will be
required to assess the impact of new tax legislation on the APL business. You will work
with relevant managers to implement the appropriate business changes so as to ensure
compliance. Provision of tax guidance to management on all new business arrangements.
You will ensure that the tax efficiency of the APL Group, particularly with regards to the
trading activities between APL Ltd t/a Fiji Airways and Fiji Airlines Ltd t/a Fiji Link.
Development, implementation and maintenance of relevant controls within Finance to
ensure the correctness and completeness of tax calculations. Management of all tax
related accounts on the APL balance sheet. Undertake the completion of tax returns and
the filing of the returns supported by relevant documentation within published
timeframes. Ensures that tax payments are calculated correctly and are paid on time.
Manages the relationship with APL external tax advisors, determining when it is
appropriate to seek their advice. Manage the design, build and maintenance of a database
for the storage and easy retrieval of soft copy tax documentation relating to filings,
rulings, applications and other correspondence
To be successful in the role you must have satisfactorily completed the FIT/TAFE Aircraft
Maintenance Tradesman Certificate course and hold a CAAF Aircraft Maintenance
Certificate Aircraft Trade Certificate (Mechanical or Avionics). As such, an appreciation
for quality and attention to detail are mandatory. Good organizational and problem
solving skills with the ability to work on own initiative with the energy, drive and
commitment to deliver high quality standards and results to tight timelines
AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
This role is based at the Fiji Airways Hangar in Nadi, under the Aircraft Maintenance &
Workshop Department and reporting to the Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator.
As the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will assist in scheduled maintenance
and defect rectification of both company and customer aircraft.
To be successful in the role you must have satisfactorily completed the FIT/TAFE Aircraft
Maintenance Tradesman Certificate course and hold a CAAF Aircraft Maintenance
Certificate, or a recognized apprenticeship certificate in aircraft maintenance in either
mechanical or avionics/electronics trade are preferred. Experience on one of this
aircraft type B737, A330, ATR42/72 and Twin Otter – DHC6 would be an advantage
Individuals with License Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) background are also
encouraged to apply. Must have satisfactorily completed the FNU(formerly FIT)/TAFE
Aircraft Maintenance Tradesman Certificate course or a recognized apprenticeship
course in Aircraft Maintenance, hold a basic licence and be adequately qualified and
experienced to hold type rated licence/approval on at least one of the following aircraft:
B737, A330, ATR42/72 and Twin Otter – DHC6.
CORPORATE SALES ASSISTANT
This position is based at the Suva Sales Office.
As the Corporate Sales Assistant you are required to provide efficient, accurate, itinerary
planning, reservations and ticketing services to Clients for international travel – point to
point and complicated itineraries. Acts as the focal point, the intermediary between client
and airline/reservations, for obtaining required clearances for Medical and Group
bookings. Ensure accurate accounting and compilation of sales and security of revenue.
You are required to maintain a high level of customer service which promotes the
Company image and values. Contribute to the Suva International Sales Centre’s efficiency
by maintaining a professional and business-like environment/attitude at all times.
To be successful in the role you must have a tertiary qualification in Ticketing &
Reservation or related field and/or 3 years’ experience in International Reservation &
Ticketing. You must possess an excellent verbal and written communication skills and

accounting consultancy service to APL management. CPA qualified (or qualified by
experience) and/or appropriate tax qualification. Excellent communicator; work under
own initiative. Strong system skills – Excel, VB, Access and power-point. Take
responsibility for the delivery of results, ensuring standards aren’t compromised even
when under pressure. Able to communicate complex information in a concise and
confident manner. Present succinct, well balanced information written, and oral, with
clear outcomes.
