Are you interested
in making your
community a

Big Sweep will be on Saturday,
March 21 from 9 am - 12:30 pm.
Volunteers will gather at one of three
locations to help clean-up areas that
could use a bit of sprucing up. This
is a great opportunity for anyone
looking to make a difference in our
community, especially scouts needing service hours! Contact Matt Polling at [email protected]
or 919-753-1035 to participate.

Teen Day is Fun Day
Saturday, April 18
Join the Fuquay-Varina Police and community volunteers as they demonstrate the dangers of texting and alcohol while driving at the 5th Annual Teen Day Fuquay on Saturday, April 18th from 11 am - 4 pm at South Park located at 820 South Main Street.
This event, designed for youth from area middle
and high schools, offers a DWI simulator, an
obstacle course, drunk goggles and pedal cart
course, and lots of other hands-on driving and
learning experiences.
If you have children nearing driving age, this is a
"don't miss" event. The simulation of an accident
scene is riveting! In addition to a great learning
experience, students will be treated to a free
lunch, fun activities and prizes.
The first 250 students to complete the Drive Wise Course, a group of activities to teach
teens that drinking and driving don't mix, will receive a free t-shirt.
This free program is hosted by the Town of Fuquay-Varina and the Fuquay-Varina Police Department. Parents are welcome to attend! www.teendayfuquay.com
