Students who have “A” averages in regular courses who can be challenged by AP! Enroll in at least 1 Pre-AP or AP course each year: ECS 11th/12th grade year Take the AVID Elective class Want to attend a 4 year college or university Vista Ridge AVID Student Take the AVID Elective class in place of Professional Communications as a freshman but get the credit for both Enroll in at least 1 Pre-AP/AP or Early College Start (ECS) course each semester Want to learn how to take effective notes Like to work in groups Want to learn how to become organized Want to visit colleges/universities and have support during the process of applying Desire to work hard!
