



Individual event
Participants will be given a general topic and should present it for a
minute
Objections can be raised by a panel in case of hesitation, deviations and
repetitions
Judge’s decision will be final and binding.

POSTER PRESENTATION








Individual event
The entire poster must be mounted on a 40” x 60” foam-core board.
The poster does not necessarily have to fill the entire working area.
The board must be oriented in the “landscape” position (long dimension
is horizontal).
A banner displaying your poster title, name, and department (or class, if
appropriate) should be positioned at top-centre of the board.
Make it obvious to the viewer how to progressively view the poster. The
poster generally should read from left to right, and top to bottom.
Numbering the individuals panels or connecting them with arrows is a
standard “guidance system”
Leave some open space in the design. An open layout is less tiring to the
eye and mind.
Word-process all text (including captions). Print on plain white paper
with a laser printer or inkjet printer.
Poster must be prepared and brought at the day of event.

TECH WORD HUNT




3 participants per team.

10 shortlisted teams shall play dumb charades based on technical words.







The event comprises of 3 rounds

Qualifying team will go in for practical session for duration of 1½ hrs and you

you have to code a game in C or C++

Contestants have to develop an app based on a theme given on-the-spot.





Maximum of 2 participants per team
Written prelims based on DBMS, SQL, data models, database schema and
query optimization.
Shortlisted teams have to design a relational database schema for a given
scenario and data must be retrieved according to given queries.

Web Designing











The purpose of competition is to produce a 4+ page website based on the
competition topic (announced on the day of the competition), permitted
development tools, target web browsers and teamwork. Teams must not
have more than 2 members. Only the use of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is
permitted.
Prelims if required will be conducted based on web designing.
Permitted development tools:
o Dreamweaver
o Firefox
o Notepad
Permitted web content brought by contestants:
The participating teams will be allowed to bring any image files as required
for their website on a CD which must be handed over to event organizers
prior to start of final round. No other files brought on the removable device
will be accepted. No other storage device (USB flash drive, memory card,
mobile phones) will be entertained. A list of topics will be published on the
competition website the day before the competition, to enable candidates to
bring appropriate images.
Standard Compliance
Web pages must employ standards based web design
with well-formed HTML and CSS. The following will be applied in judging
regardless of whether the HTML was hand-coded or created with an editor.
Every operating tag must have a matching closing or should include a space
and the closing slash at the end of tag.
All tags must be in lower case.
Web pages must be fully functional in Firefox web browser
Use of CSS or JavaScript from the internet, or any other source, will not be
allowed.

Soft copy of the paper and hand outs must be submitted via mail on or





2 participants per team
A manual based on a language will be given on the spot
½ hour will be given for the participants to study the language.
Participants should code, debug, predict the output etc…. with the help of
the manual in 2 hrs.













Each team should have 4 members.
The event has 3 rounds
Written prelims based on circuit ideas.
Selected teams will design a circuit based on the details given in the second
round.
Teams will debug the circuit designed by them in the third round.
The team that finishes first within the given time will be the winners.
o First round
One member of the team should participate for the written prelims.
The selected teams will go for the second round.
o Second round
The next two members of the selected team will design a circuit based on the
details given.
These teams will go for a second round.
o Third round
The last member of the team must debug the circuit designed by their team.
Team that finishes first will be judged winners.

ROBOWAR





Maximum of 2 participants per team.
Robot should be autonomous. Wireless host computer program control is
allowed.
Teams must bring all necessary materials for the exhibition (laptops, posters
etc.)
Each team will have a maximum of 10 minutes to display their robot.
Teams are strongly engaged to choose creative project topics.

MATLAB CODING




Maximum of two participants per team.
The event consists of two rounds.
Written prelims based on MATLAB.
Qualifying team will go in for a practical session for the duration of 2 hr and
you can code in MATLAB.

TECH OLYMPIAD











3 participants per team.
o Round 1
General aptitude test will be held.
30 questions have to be answered in 30 minutes.
o Round 2
Mad maths.
Participants should solve puzzles, etc.
o Round 3
Science round.
Questions will be asked based on current affairs, theme, and general
awareness.
o Round 4
Here the participants should go through 2 segments.
2 participants from each team will be given 3 words to spell out. Third
participant will be the one who has to identify the word.
All participants have to write a topic of their own interest on a chit. One
participant from each team has to speak out the topic randomly picked from
the bowl for 2 minutes extemporary.
o Round 5
Interaction with the judges.











The sound track should be submitted in a CD or pen drive in MP3 format. The
event in-charges will not be responsible for malfunctioning of CD or pen drive
The participating team should ensure that the CD or pen drive containing the
sound track with the college name written on it is submitted 1 hour prior to
the respective event coordinator.
Any sort of props/stage settings that cause injury to participants or
spectators are strictly prohibited.
Any actions that can cause damage to stage including light and sound settings
are subjected to penalty.
During the event, the teams are requested to take care of their belongings.

Obscenities of any kind will not be tolerated & the team will be disqualified

No vulgarities and obscenities will be allowed
All the submissions must be original footage and ideas.
Evaluation will be based on direction, screenplay, script, editing, and
sound mixing.
