Sales extremely poor week with only 4 out of 24 stores positive against last year.
Sales down by nearly 25% with margin staying above the average at 46.76% (Margin range
from 31.98% to 55.24%)
Important focus on sales as this has been an especially poor week for nearly all. Make sure all
avenues are being focused on with web shop, amazon and eBay. Re merchandising windows
and looking busy in store to drag people in!
Buys are 15% down & Buybacks improve being 7% up. Street Value being positive just!
Stock In just over 11 % down again which needs some focus to help with sales.
February Month v LY:
Sales 75.55%, Stock in 85.98%. BB out 107.00% BB out ahead with the other two behind.
Stock in negative mirrors Sales negative.
Good Margin at 46.10% but with poor sales.

are nor already using something similar please add to your toolbox to try and limit losses.

Crisis Response Plan ~ Reminder
Please find attached copies of the Business Continuity Plan Franchise Template and Remarkable Crisis
Response Plan.
It has been requested that we provide something to the franchisees in terms of a high level document
they could complete/ use for their own plan, as these documents form part of their FCA application.
Lloyds Information Request
Dear All
I am aware that there have been some Franchisees who bank with Lloyds that have been asked to give
various information to the bank.
I have spoken to the Director of Franchise operations in Lloyds to see if CCUK can help in a broader
capacity. I have made it clear that we are unhappy with the way this has been dealt with and a 5 day
lead time may not be achievable. They have agreed that the 5 day lead time could be increased but this
will need to be done on an individual basis – so if you really do need more time just let them know!
Lloyds have confirmed they require the information they have requested and the information we
provided centrally does not help with their internal requirements on an account by account basis. I
emailed the AML information yesterday this seems to be the only generic bit they are asking for, other
than that the information is based on the individual account.
Most queries have been around AML - please find all our AML documents attached. In terms of
registration, all Franchisees are registered on HMRC’s website
https://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/msbregister/searchAgain.do. If you ask Lloyds to type in the reg no
12193561 and then the store postcode this will confirm you are registered – this is better than someone
verifying or a paper document, which I believe they are asking for!
If you need any help please do not hesitate to contact me.

PFC – Regional Hook-Up’s
Region 2: Very much seems like the haves and have not’s with some stores going exceptionally well and others
struggling to process any personal loan business. Exeter lead the way with 8 Hook Up’s and
Stourbridge are on top of the PL commissions table with £522. Fantastic work. Plymouth is way out in
front in terms of CA achieved, putting out just above £26000 which is a phenomenal effort and shows
that the business is out there. With only this week left of the month it would be nice to see some stores
knocking off the noughts and looking at potentially upselling a cash advance to a PL or having great
conversations in store and spotting opportunities.

Southampton Celebrate 20th Anniversary Week
What an Excellent week in Southampton raising £750 for Dreams come true!
With the Lady Mayoress presenting 3 of the team with a 20 year service award.
Lots of events in store to win prizes and a sponsored bike ride in the window which I even had a go on
for a good 2 minutes!
Well done Southampton and all the Scrancher group stores in making it a fantastic week!
Happy Christmas ~ Christmas POS?
Merry Christmas!!!! Please check for any Christmas POS material
still in place in stores! Recently we have seen counter mats still
sending a Christmas message… and this won’t look good to a
customer!!! Let’s have another check through, whilst also ensuring
that the POS you have in place throughout the store links to the
business focus and goals you have set within your own business
plans!!!
