The CSI has returned to the birthplace of the Midwest Champion-
ships: Holiday Inn Oakbrook. We’ll have “run of the house” at
this friendly-sized hotel with lots of great amenities including: Bar
Louie Tavern & Grill, free wireless Internet, fitness center, and
indoor swimming pool. Additionally
the hotel is a mile from the beautiful
Oakbrook Center Shopping Complex and dozens of great restaurants.

jigsaw puzzle piece at registration. Donate $10
to ACS for another piece. Find your interlock
and you both enter the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Jigsaw Doubles Playoffs for $400. 16 team limit.
CSI’s clock policy is “clocks on request” in the Grand Crystal
Beaver and Central States Doubles only. In all other events, clocks
may be used with mutual agreement or by Directors’ authority.
CSI staffers will carefully monitor matches in all divisions and
clocks will be aggressively placed on any match that is unduly

female payoffs vary based on divisional entrant
numbers.) The action begins Friday afternoon
at 3:00 p.m. All 5-point matches. Tak Morioka
is the 2014 winner.
CENTRAL STATES DOUBLES ($150–85%
return. $50 side pool–100% return, clocks on
request). Single elimination, commences Friday
at 7:30 p.m. 7-point matches with no reentries.

1-PT. QUICKIE TOURNAMENT ($20–85%
return, reentries). 1-point “Quickie” matches
will commence at 3:30 p.m. Friday and continue
throughout the weekend. Based on 64 entries:

MICROBLITZ ($30–85% return, reentries).
Four-player knockouts starting Friday at 3:30
p.m. All 5-point matches. Winners receive $50
and qualify for Sunday’s “Winner Take All”
playoffs. A player may qualify up to four times.
