February 24, 2015 Principal’s Message: Dear Parents/Guardians of Thornburg Middle School Students: This is the 24th week of school. I hope you and your children enjoyed your mini “winter break” due to the series of inclement weather. Please note that events from last week have had date changes for the current and upcoming week. We are in the midst of transitioning to a new student information called Synergy. If you have not picked up or arranged for us to mail or email the “Synergy Parent Activation Key” letter, please contact Belinda Tiedt at 582-7603 or by email at [email protected]. Subsequently, PASS (Parent Access for Student Success) will be deactivated with Synergy. ParentVue went live February 20, 2015. Please maintain close contact with your child's teachers and guidance counselor as the year progresses. I want to take this time and wish everyone a productive, positive, and successful 2014-15 school year. Students have been provided a booklet titled “Net Cetera, Chatting with Kids about Being Online”. This booklet is issued by the US Government and openly provides guidance and suggestions about online cyber safety. Please take some time to review this short booklet and to talk to your children about online safety. Extra booklets are available in the Guidance Office.
