This month we will again provide
our own program. We are a diverse
group with various interests outside
the club, but we do all share a love
of antiques. Therefore, please feel
free to tell the group how you
became interested in antiques, what
was the first item you bought,
inherited or were given and why it is
special to you. If it is something you
can bring, please do so. You can
also tell us how you became involved
with the WPOSC Antiques
Societé. We love to hear each other’s
stories, so this promises to be a very
entertaining time.

Welfare
The WPOSC Welfare Committee would like to thank
you all for your support throughout the year so far. Thank
you to all the volunteers that have given countless hours to
help with some wonderful organizations to help make their
events a success. As you all know, the WPOSC provides
financial and volunteer support to many base and community organizations and has, over the years,
been able to support many great causes.
In February, WPOSC members had a
wonderful opportunity to participate in a
Food Donation Drive for Simply One – this is
part of Greene County
Food Drive donation program. Thank you so
much to everyone for all
your wonderful donations – it really was appreciated. During the
month of February we
were also given the opportunity to provide Brunch for the
families staying at Fisher Nightingale
House. This was a really wonderful event and it was lovely
meeting and talking with the families staying there. Thank you to everyone for all your help, support and
also for the wonderful food that you
provided for the families - we really
could not have done it without all
your help.
WPOSC members will also
have further volunteer opportunities and as soon as
we get information on these opportunities we will
post this in TWW (if we know the dates before
TWW goes to print), on the WPOSC Facebook
pages, send out e-mails to the membership and
announce events that are coming up at the OSC
monthly functions.
If you are interested in helping at any events in the
future please let us know and it will be really great
to see you. Thank you once again for all your help
and support.
