Advanced life-saving solutions for your ICU
Pulsion is now part of Maquet
With the acquisition of PULSION Medical Systems SE in 2014 Maquet broadens its Advanced Monitoring product portfolio. In
addition to EIRUS, Pulsion’s four flagship products are now underlining Maquet’s expertise in the ICU / OR setting.
PiCCO
PiCCO combines continuous cardiac output based on pulse contour analysis with calibrated thermodilution, giving precise
functional parameters for hemodynamic assessment. With more than 1.000 publications PiCCO is state of the art regarding
reliability and accuracy.
EIRUS
EIRUS continuously monitors the metabolites glucose and lactate in blood, right at the patient’s bedside. Glucose monitoring
helps to keep patients within a healthy glycemic range, while lactate trends can be used to assess the patient’s condition and can
indicate the need for resuscitation.
Personalized Ventilation
Using the physiology of the patient to control ventilation has the potential to shorten time on ventilation by reducing sedatives and
decreasing intubation time, and thus avoiding diaphragm atrophy. Find out how early continuous monitoring of the Edi signal and
ventilating with NAVA / NIV NAVA can make a difference by personalizing respiratory support for patients of all ages.

The New Power of You
Lung protective ventilation has been proven as life-saving in the ICU1. SERVO-U’s mission of making protective ventilation more
accessible continues: come and explore how an interactive visualization of the patient’s ventilation situation can support you in
your lung protective strategy.
