TEAM MANAGER APPLICATION
The next round of international events will be coming up shortly. Chess SA is
hereby giving notice to all MANAGERS to apply for the positions by completing the
attached application for the various events listed below.
Please take great care in reading the application and following the requirements
and restrictions. Chess SA reserves the right to place any successful applicant at
any event or not to appoint any Team Manager from the applications received, at
all. The applicable events are listed below.
Applications must reach Chess SA by no later than SUNDAY 15/03/2015. All
completed application forms must be sent via email to: Adv Lyndon Bouah:

and copied to the Chess SA General Secretary: Mrs Marcelle Agulhas on
<[email protected]>. All Applicants must be paid up members of the
Trainers and Managers’ Commission. Membership of R100-00 must be paid by
SUNDAY 15/03/2015 and proof of payment must accompany the application.

African Youth Championship, Livingstone, Zambia : (4 - 14 December 2015).
African Junior Championships, Mahe Island, Seychelles : (27 December 2015 to 6
January 2016).
Commonwealth Chess Championship - New Delhi, India : (22 June to 30 June

All sections must be completed. Incomplete OR late applications will not be
considered.
Applications with “cut and paste” signatures will not be considered.
Chess SA reserves the right to also approach individuals who have not applied
for the positions only if they are vacant or if there are no suitable candidates.
You must be registered with a Region/Province.

First time applicants will only be considered for African Youth and as a Trainee
Manager for World Youth, as per the Council decision of 2013, held in Cape
Town. A second manager or trainee manager will be appointed depending on
the number of players selected, number of accompanying persons and
finances.
