AVE ET VALE – HAIL AND FAREWELL
Father John has served our parish for over nine
years. He has led and accompanied us on our
pilgrimage journey in good times and bad. He
has faithfully celebrated the Eucharist, preached
the Word of God, administered the Sacraments
and visited the sick and homebound. For this we
are eternally grateful.
Father will be retiring from full time active
parish ministry and joining the ranks of the
Senior Priests. He will continue his priestly
ministry at a less demanding pace.
We will miss his presence among us and offer
him our prayers and best wishes as he enters his
retirement years.
Please join us for the 12 Noon Mass on Sunday,
March 15th as we thank Father John for his years
of service. A reception in his honor will follow in
the small hall.
PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS
God our Father, we thank you for calling men
and women to serve on your Son’s Kingdom as
priests, deacons and consecrated persons. Send
your Holy Spirit to help others respond
generously and courageously to your call. May
our community of St. Francis de Sales support
vocations of sacrifical love in the youth and
young adults. Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the
Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen

2015 ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL
Dear Parishioners:
We all have received countless blessings in our lives because of the generosity of God.
Through these gifts, we are called to assist our bothers and sisters in need, which is perhaps
our most tangible demonstration of faith, love and living the words of Jesus.
As we enter the season of Lent I ask that every family consider a sacrificial gift to 2015
Annual Catholic Appeal. Your gift will touch the lives of countless numbers of our sisters and
brothers in Christ.
Thank you for your consideration of this request St. Francis de Sales, pray for us.
