Athletes work with a trainer on exercises that better condition them for
baseball and softball. Participants train to improve their agility, strength,
power, balance, and coordination. Athletes, grades 7-12, who are trying
out for the upcoming girls tennis season are encouraged to register. The
cost is $30.90 for a two week session. Participants meet Monday through
Thursday from 3:30pm-4:30pm at the ARC starting March 16th through
March 26th.
This tournament is for traveling basketball teams and will take place on
March 28th and 29th. Each team is guaranteed 3 games. There is a 5th,
6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and girls division. The cost for $120 per
team. Games will be played at the ARC, Raymond Family Community
Center, Williston State College, or Williston High School.
Join “The Hit Doctor” Ron Lawrence and other area coaches in an effort to
help you create greater bat speed, more contact, and generate more power. Session Starts Thursday March 5th at 6:00pm in the Turf Field. Cost is
$50 for 8 sessions.
During Kids Night Out your children can enjoy a night out at the ARC with
access to all the amenities on Friday, March 6th from 6pm-9pm.
Participants will be supervised by WPRD staff. Parents must leave their
membership card or a copy of their license with staff when dropping their
kids off. Children ages 2–12 are able to register for a fee of $10.30 per
child. Deadline to register is March 4th.
Build a snowman on WPRD property for a chance to win a birthday party
room rental at the Williston ARC. Participants must submit their name,
phone number, snowman name, date built and location to [email protected]
by February 26th. Photos will be posted to the Williston Parks & Recreation Facebook page where the creation with the most “likes” wins.

On Sunday from 5:00pm-9:00pm men can compete in WPRD’s adult
basketball league. The fee is $360 and the registration deadline is
March 13th. League will start on March 22nd.
Games are played in the dark with blacklights to make everything glow.
It is recommended teams wear something that glows under a
blacklight. Adults ages 21 and up are welcome to register. The deadline
to register is March 6th for a fee of $77.25. The event will be held on
March 14th at the Raymond Family Community Center.
