Our Lenten Almsgiving
Once again this Lenten Season we ask you to consider making an almsgiving donation of toiletry items
such as: toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap bars, combs,
deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, socks, etc. (cough drops, disposable razors and gently used or new blankets are in particular great
need) for our brothers and sisters who are living on the streets and sleeping on
the pews of St. Boniface Church in the Tenderloin during the day.

Items can be dropped off in the school lobby and in the church in front of
Mary's shrine. Receptacle are available at both locations.

WITH MUCH APPRECIATION
Last Saturday, February 28th, Luis and Lola Ortiz
drove Victoria down to La Casa de las Madres to drop
off 12 boxes (1,911 items). These items are welcome
indeed to the families being supported by Las Casa de
las Madres.
Thank you to all families who supported Victoria's service project and this wonderful program.

St. Philips is forming a very informal School Arts task force to explore bringing an art program to the school next year. We need ideas and energy - and welcome anyone with an interest in providing
our kids with additional art experiences! FIRST step will be securing a grants that support art or fine arts programs. Come become
part of a super contribution to your child and others! We need anyone who would like to be a part!!

SPRING ECO-EXPLORERS
Students will explore the relationship between earth, plants and humans while
making terrariums, seed suitcases, rain machines, and more!
Wednesdays: Grades K-1

At KMS we have a great program for athletes for ages 5-11. Our KMS Basketball/Baseball/
Soccer Sports Camps are all about being outside, enjoying the summer weather, exploring
new sports and enjoying old favorites. This year’s sports camps will have a special emphasis on Basketball, Baseball, Soccer and Volleyball. Our sports camps will include enhancing
basic sports skills at KMS as well as taking trips to nearby parks to put new skills into practice. The most important part of sports camp is to HAVE FUN!
