Growing in Unity In the Body of Christ. Dear Parents, It was such a special weekend for our second graders as they received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. The anticipation and excitement in their eyes reminded me very much of a Christmas morning. We often say at Christmas time that we wish the spirit of Christmas would last the whole year through. It struck me as I was watching the students receive Communion for the first time, that I wish they could have that same feeling each and every time they receive the Eucharist. They reminded me how fortunate we all are to be a part of such a wonderful Catholic Community and that together we can carry on our Mission and truly Learn… Love… and Live… Christ. Congratulations second graders and as Father Andy said, “Welcome to the big table.” Believe it or not, but we only have five weeks of school left. It is so important to keep focused and finish the school year strong. All the policies and procedures that applied at the beginning of the year are still in place at the end of the year. Please help us keep the students on task by getting them to school on time and making sure homework is completed. Let’s make it to the finish line together! Mrs. Callier Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures Every day we are seeing an increase of parents dropping their children off on Third Street in the morning and picking them up on Third Street in the afternoon. When you do that, you are creating an unsafe situation. The traffic is very heavy in the morning and the thought of a child being struck by a car is frightening. Also, at the end of the day, by picking your child up on Third Street, you are slowing down the process for dismissal for those who are following the rules. Again, we only have five weeks left of school. Your cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated. There is NO P.T.O. Meeting on Thursday, April 23rd. Respect Life Congratulations to our Pro-Life Essay Contest Winners! 1st Place – Connor Hood 2nd Place – Luke Larabee 3rd Place – Mackenzie Friedel On April 13th, our 8th grade students participated in the Model U.N.
