DAB+ for your home and on the go: digital listening
pleasure from PEAQ
Ingolstadt, 03.03.2015: Digital radio reception via DAB+ is
gaining ground. The PDR150BT-B/W portable DAB+ radio from
PEAQ, Media Markt and Saturn's own brand for sophisticated
entertainment, promises great reception and sound quality even
when on the go. The radio's attractive and high-quality design
will also attract admiring looks.
Normal UHF radio reception often leaves something to be desired;
signal noise and sound interruptions often cloud listening pleasure.
One solution is the digital radio standard DAB+, which not only
guarantees noise-free sound but also enables the transmission of a
wealth of additional information, such as song title and artist or traffic
information, on the display.
Digital to go
The new PDR150BT-B/W portable DAB+ radio provides both a DAB+
and UHF receiver. This means that not only the new digital radio
stations can be received but also all currently available analog radio
stations. In addition, the portable radio can also tap into external
music sources, such as smartphones and MP3 players, thanks to
Bluetooth and NFC connectivity, as well as a 3.5 mm AUX-in
connector.
The combination of rechargeable batteries and external power supply
also provides maximum flexibility, which is enhanced by the radio's
light weight, a mere 600 grams, and compact size.
Minimalistic design
In addition to a high level of functionality, PEAQ also attaches great
importance to an attractive design. The radio, which is available in

elegant anthracite or timeless white, boasts a minimalistic design and
is thus in line with current trends. From a visual perspective, the
operating controls have also been kept to a minimum. Anyone looking
for buttons or knobs that distract from the design will look in vain –
instead, control buttons integrated on top of the radio offer maximum
ease of use. Thanks to the attractively designed strap attached to the
side of the radio, the DAB+ radio is also an indispensable companion
when on the go.
Availability
The new PEAQ PDR150BT-B/W is part of the growing PEAQ audio
portfolio and will be available exclusively at Media Markt and Saturn
stores starting in April at a recommended retail price of 79.99 euros.
