Students with disabilities often require supports and accommodations to help them navigate their way through the maze of rigorous general education standards. In this presentation, we will explore ways in which universal design for learning and assistive technology can be used to provide a roadmap to success and improved learning outcomes for all students. Participants will: describe ways in which technology can be used to support literacy and provide access to the general education curriculum; list strategies for identifying student technology needs and aligning goals with the standards; become familiar with strategies for leveraging existing and readily available (often free!) technology tools; understand universal design for learning ‐ access for all; gain a general awareness of specialized AT for low‐
