THE JOURNEY OF GRIEF SERIES ~How to
have a Good “Bad” Day~ Held at Sacred Heart
Church on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 pm in the
Parish Center. All are welcome. Grief is not a
process of forgetting. It is a process of learning
to cope while we remember. We grieve because
we have loved. Grief is hard work at a time when
we seem to have little energy. We cannot control
the feelings that arise within us, but we can
choose what to do with them. Let us together
explore ways to work through the days when
feelings seem to overwhelm us. Find out how
having a “Pity Party” is sometimes necessary
and can be therapeutic.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT?
A young layman was climbing a cliff
when suddenly he slipped. He grabbed a
branch and hung there. He couldn’t pull
himself up and was becoming exhausted.
Finally he looked up to the heavens and
cried out: “God, help me; please, help me.”
Suddenly the clouds parted and a deep
voice resounded, “Let go!”
The young man paused, looked around,
and then he looked up at heaven once
more and said: “Is anyone else up there?”
