These swimming crash courses are suitable for beginners.
Our qualified teaching staff ensures that everyone gains
confidence, develops technique and enjoys swimming.
Smash-Up Badminton
Monday 30th March

Bring your play list and rock the court! Smash-Up is a brand
new badminton session that breaks the rules with a variety of
fun games. Supported by Badminton England. All equipment is
provided and advance booking is required.

A sociable indoor soft play session for parents and under 6’s.
In the sports hall there will be a bouncy castle, ball pool, soft play
equipment plus trikes and hoops for children to play in a safe
environment. The sessions provide an excellent opportunity for
your child to interact with other children plus improve their
balance and co-ordination. Parental supervision required.
There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day!
Run-around Games

A fun hour with lots of different run-around games for you to
enjoy such as parachute games, fox and hounds, leapfrog,
stuck in the mud plus much more. Guaranteed to burn off all of

Death by Chocolate

Learn how to do things with chocolate that you never thought
was possible! A fun session involving melting, cooking,
modelling and decorating. All chocolate is supplied. Not
suitable for children with nut allergies. Please bring a suitable

Rookie Lifeguard
(8+ years)
Thursday 2nd April and Thursday 9th April

£4.80 per session
Rookie Lifeguard teaches valuable lifesaving skills, increases
swimming confidence and develops survival skills, initiative,
judgement, teamwork and leadership. Participants must be able
to swim 50 metres, confident in deep water and come wearing
old shorts and t-shirts to swim in.
Painting Fun
You never knew how much fun you can have with paint until
now! Prepare to get messy using your fingers, hands, sponges
and straws to create your very own masterpieces. Remember to
wear suitable clothing.
Thursday 2nd April

Come and try a different game of football. Futsal was originally
developed in Brazil and uses a smaller ball with less bounce.
It is played indoors in the sports hall and encourages
improvisation, creativity and ball control. After learning the
simple rules you will be split into teams to play the game.

Nerf Wars is a completely safe, fun and competitive activity
which involves foam firing blasters. Our staff will organise team

Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult (16+) in the water. No more than two under 8’s allowed with each adult. Children over 8 must use the correct changing room
according to their gender. A £1 refundable deposit is required for a swimming locker wristband. Swims may be limited to 45 minutes. During busy periods a call-out system operates.
A qualified lifeguard supervises the pool at all times. Entry to the deep end of the pool (also on the inflatable) is at the lifeguards discretion and will be judged on swimming ability.
Under 8’s, non-swimmers or those who cannot swim 50 metres are not allowed to attend the Commando Run Inflatable session.

This popular course enables participants to gain a level 1, 2 or 3
