The student will review electrical part test data, both mechanical and electrical results and insure success criteria is met before accepting the data and populating a database. This position is interdisciplinary in nature. The student will also likely develop software tools, likely in VBA, and perform data analysis. The student will have exposure to hardware and while working with industry engineers. The task will require working with NSIDC science staff and contractor engineers on East Campus and nearby. Tasks will focus on writing executable scripts to manage sensor arrays, power management, communication management, etc. for a remote autonomous station. Full-time status as an undergraduate student at UCB required.
