She has worked in community groups, galleries, schools and hospitals, involving many different people including the elderly, women's groups, inter-generational, multi-cultural and youth groups. She was resident artist for Dungannon Community Arts Studio for three years facilitating their Arts and Disability programme. I made several short animated films with various youth groups. As an experienced animator I offer a group of 6 to 8 people the opportunity to take part in a hands-on workshop where they have the chance to design and create models to use for animation. The participants are then given the chance to animate the models and understand how this works in professional environment. Once the animation is complete the participants can see how it is edited and presented in its finished form on television. These workshops normally need a day to be effective due to the amount of work involved. At a small cost a video cd can be supplied to anyone interested.
