FINANCIAL ANALYST: JOBS FUND Ref (S041/2015) Salary: R532.278.00 – R743 076 per annum (All including package) One (1) year fixed term contract renewable for three (3) years PRETORIA Purpose To conduct analysis and give strategic advice to the Jobs Fund in financial matters as they relate to the Jobs Fund applications and portfolio of investments Key Outputs Project Financial Appraisal Analysis of Corporate Financials Appraise new investment proposals (due diligence) and opportunities Commercial analysis, financial modelling and analysis, risk and institutional analysis Prepare appraisal/credit reports for investment consideration Negotiation of project documents Advise on investment structuring Implement Jobs Fund Value for Money Framework Project Financial Monitoring & Reporting Analysis of Corporate Financials Analysis of disbursement requests Analysis and monitoring of project financial performance, expenditure and cash flow forecasts Qualifications: To be considered for this position, the applicant should have a B Com Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent National Diploma from an accredited educational institution. A post graduate qualification and project finance and grant management experience will be an advantage. Experience: Experience in appraising, negotiating and closing Project Finance, Corporate Finance or Structured Finance transactions; 5-8 years’ experience in monitoring, measurement and evaluation of development programmes/ projects; Project financial management; investment structuring; financial risk management Strong accounting background and credit and risk analysis skills Knowledge of the relevant legislative framework (PFMA; Treasury Regulations; GAAP/GRAP) Analyses financial statements; independently conduct financial model reviews and analysis Must be familiar with types of agreements/contracts typically used in non/limited recourse finance .
