All graduate and undergraduate students participating will receive a monetary award of $100. Graduate students present their research, and the top students will receive awards totalling $2,250. Undergraduates can present their research or provide a thorough review of a nutritional topic; $1,200 will be distributed among the top presenters. Undergraduate and graduate students may attend the Conference for free, and lodging will be made available for students. Pre-registration is required. The guidelines for contestants can be found on the website. Abstracts by graduate students for the contest are due by Friday, March 6, 2015 and will be printed in the proceedings of the Tri-State Dairy Nutrition Conference. Conference Objectives To disseminate current information on the feeding of dairy cattle, primarily to individuals who provide nutritional advice to dairy farmers. Intended Audience Feed industry personnel, nutrition consultants, Extension personnel, veterinarians, and interested dairy producers. Registration Fee $175 per person, includes refreshments during breaks and hospitality reception, one breakfast, and one copy of the Tri-State Dairy Nutrition Conference Proceedings (online or paper).
