SEPURA RADIO MANAGER 2
Fast, flexible and easy to use, Radio Manager 2 centralises
and automates the programming of your radio fleet,
saving time and valuable resources.
Highly intuitive, Radio Manager 2 enables configuration
files to be designed ahead of programming, allowing
radios to be automatically updated when connected
to a programming client, without the need of a skilled
engineer.
Users can be mapped to radios, and batches can be
created and easily tracked using the status monitor and
programming client. Each batch has a start and end
date, providing a chronological log and an associated
software version for each radio in the fleet. This allows full
version control and status logging of all radios, ensuring
complete management of the fleet.
Radio Manager 2 is available in four different packages,
from a standalone version, for small-scale use, or a
networked version, offering central control of radios at
remote locations. Each package is activated by a licence,
and can be upgraded with optional features.

USER-CONFIGURABLE OPTIONS
STANDARD CONFIGURATIONS
When the fleet requires an upgrade, radios with
old customisation can be automatically upgraded.
A programming batch is designed which specifies
customisation templates, software versions for
radios within the fleet and a start and end time.
Any radio included in the batch and connected
to a programming client within this period will be
programmed. Real-time, remote reporting allows
progress to be monitored.
Access-level permissions can be set to allow
users to modify configurations according to their
privileges. For example, some users may have
permission to create new configuration templates,
while others are only permitted to edit specific
existing configurations.

Radio Manager 2 supports up to 32 radios,
connected simultaneously, per programming
client. The restriction on the number of
programming clients running on any one PC is
limited only by its PC’s hardware performance.
To prevent unauthorised programming of radios
or access to configuration data, Radio Manager 2
requires authentication before performing any
actions. This also allows radios to be associated
with one or more authorised Radio Manager 2
installations.

SECURE DATABASE CONNECTION

Radio Manager 2 provides a secure connection
between applications and the database using
SSL/TLS protocol. This ensures that sensitive
information is accessible only by the intended
recipient.

THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS
A number of options are available for connecting
Radio Manager 2 to third-party applications:
• An external spreadsheet containing fleet map
data can be imported
• A web-based XML Operations Interface (XOi)
application allows creation, definition and
monitoring of programming batches; definition
and association of radios and subscribers;
creation, definition and update of talkgroups;
and running of remote reports

numbers of terminals

Unauthorised Radio Managers will be denied
access to the radio, preventing programming.
Secure programming can be applied as a general
policy or set on an individual radio basis.
MULTIPLE DATABASE CONNECTIONS
Several Radio Manager 2 installations can be
accessed from a single PC, allowing data for
different user groups to be stored separately,
ensuring integrity and security, yet providing easy
access and saving in hardware footprint cost.

WINDOWS SERVICE
The Radio Manager 2 programming client runs
as a Windows™ service and can be automatically
started when your PC boots up, as well as
paused and restarted, without the need for a
user interface. An optional, automatic software
upgrade feature is also available.
