Dr. Wayne Martinsen, MD
MSW
Dr. Martinsen is a board-certified psychiatrist working with Dakota Family Services.
He provides professional services to youth
in the residential programs at Dakota Boys
and Girls Ranch and maintains an outpatient practice
encompassing a wide age range. Originally from rural
North Dakota, Dr. Martinsen received his medical degree
from the University of North Dakota and completed
residency at the University of North Dakota. He also has
a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of
Nebraska, Omaha.
Dr. Meryl Willert, Ph.D.
Dr. Willert is a clinical child/adolescent
psychologist who completed his doctoral
training at the University of North Dakota
and Spokane Mental Health in Washington. He has extensive experience in hospital and residential treatment settings and specializes in psychological
testing and treatment of ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety,
autistic spectrum disorders and personality issues. Dr.
Willert emphasizes a cognitive/behavioral approach to
therapy as well as play, art and music/percussion techniques, when indicated.
Tammy Uleberg,
Family Nurse Practitioner
Tammy Uleberg is a certified Family Nurse
Practitioner, who was born and raised in
the Minot area. She received a Registered
Nurse degree from the University of Mary, Bismarck, N.D.,
and a Family Nurse Pracitioner Certification (FNP - C) from
Clarkson College, Omaha, Neb. In 2009, Tammy received
a psychiatric and mental health Master’s Degree from the
University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. Prior to working
at DFS, she worked inpatient psychiatry for more than 12
years.
