Harness your child correctly by pulling the adjuster strap firmly and steadily forward until the green light shows up and you can hear the sound. Your child has potentially unfastened themselves. Pull over as soon as convenient and re-harness your child. The automatic retraction system is at the end of its working range and cannot compensate any additional slack in the harness. If your child is still fastened, the alert can be a warning that the automatic retraction system is at the end of its working range. You may still have a fit well beyond your first installation but the automatic adjustment has stopped. You may either complete your journey (with periodic checks on your child) or pull over at the next convenient place and simply pull the adjuster strap again (without unbuckling) to green to reload your automatic retraction system, this will also reset your alert system. 3 green light | sound Your child is harnessed correctly. TIP: If there is not enough space in your car to pull the adjuster strap strong enough, this advice from other parents may help: 1. Wrap the strap around your hand for a better grip. 2. Place one foot in the car and press your knee against the seat to get more leverage. FINAL TIPS: 1. To confirm an optimal fit for your child, check that no more than 2 fingers fit between your child´s chest and the performance chest pad. 2. If you are concerned that the fit is not optimal for your individual requirements repeat steps 3 – 5.
