CHECKS
ATS REQUIRED ACTIONS
1
1 red light | no sound
It’s active. You placed your child
in the seat but they are not yet
harnessed correctly.
Harness your child correctly by pulling the
adjuster strap firmly and steadily forward until
the green light shows up and you can hear the
sound.
2
2 red light | beep alert
Your child has been sitting in the
seat for more than 90 s without
being harnessed correctly.
Harness your child correctly by pulling the
adjuster strap firmly and steadily forward until
the green light shows up and you can hear the
sound.
Your child has potentially
unfastened themselves.
Pull over as soon as convenient and re-harness
your child.
The automatic retraction system
is at the end of its working range
and cannot compensate any
additional slack in the harness.
If your child is still fastened, the alert can be a
warning that the automatic retraction system
is at the end of its working range. You may still
have a fit well beyond your first installation but
the automatic adjustment has stopped.
You may either complete your journey (with periodic checks on your child) or pull over at the
next convenient place and simply pull the adjuster strap again (without unbuckling) to green
to reload your automatic retraction system, this
will also reset your alert system.
3 green light | sound
Your child is harnessed correctly.
Have a safe and comfortable journey!
4 green and red flash | no sound
The batteries must be replaced.
If the batteries are completely
empty, there will be no light at all.

ATS FUNCTIONS
ATS TELLS YOU
ADJUSTS
Adjust the headrest to the correct
height. The shoulder straps should
be at the same level as your child’s
shoulder.
Bring the two buckle tongues together
so they interlock, and fasten them
firmly into the buckle until they click.
3
Pull up on the shoulder straps and
ensure the lower straps are firm
across your child’s pelvis.
4
Ensure the performance chest pads are
in the correct position. They should lay
flat on your child’s chest and should not
be twisted.
5
Pull the adjuster strap firmly and steadily
forwards until the green light shows up
and you can hear the sound.
Lift the seat cover and the foam cushion on the
seating surface and change the two type AAA
batteries in the battery compartment.
5 no light | no sound
Your child is harnessed correctly
and the green light and sound
have already confirmed this.
Have a safe and comfortable journey!
The system has already alerted
you with red light and beeping
either because it was out of
retraction or your child has
unbuckled.
Check safely if the alert was for unbuckling.
If yes, pull over as soon as convenient and
re-harness your child. If your child is still
fastened, the alert can be a warning that the
automatic retraction system is at the end of
its working range. You may still have a fit well
beyond your first installation but the automatic
adjustment has stopped. You may either complete your journey (with periodic checks on your
child) or pull over at the next convenient place
and simply pull the adjuster strap again (without
unbuckling) to green to reload your automatic
retraction system, this will also reset your alert
system.
TIP:
If there is not enough space in your car to pull
the adjuster strap strong enough, this advice from
other parents may help:
1. Wrap the strap around your hand for a better grip.
2. Place one foot in the car and press your knee against
the seat to get more leverage.
FINAL TIPS:
1. To confirm an optimal fit for your child, check that no
more than 2 fingers fit between your child´s chest and the
performance chest pad.
2. If you are concerned that the fit is not optimal for your
individual requirements repeat steps 3 – 5.
