Grad Spring Plant Fundraiser – Just in Time for Mother’s Day!
Spring is in the air and so is our Spring Plant Fundraiser for the 2015 Grads! We are selling Hanging
Baskets, Patio Planters, Strawberry Baskets, 10-pack
Herb and Tomato mix, 10 packs of potted Geraniums,
Petunias, Marigolds plus Organic Potting Soil and Fertilizer. Order Forms are attached to this newsletter and
are posted to the GRAD link of the Documents section
of the BSS website. Orders are due on Friday, April 24
at the Grad Drop Box at BSS. Plants arrive at BSS on
Wednesday, May 6 – just in time for Mother’s Day!

OCEANSIDE YOUTH SOCCER SOCIETY
OYSS offers spring soccer for boys and girls aged 5 to 17 and registration is now open.
Games are held on Saturdays from April 11 to June 13, 2015. OYSS Academy provides skill
development with professional and student coaches on Wednesdays from April 1 to May 20.

Cost is $100.00 for new players and $75.00 for players that participated fall soccer 2014. Financial assistance for families in need can be obtained from SOS, Parksville or KidsportBC. Come out, learn new

5 KM TRAIL RUN / WALK
SUNDAY– APRIL 12, 2015—RATHTREVOR PROVINCIAL PARK
The parent committee for the 2015 Ballenas Dry Grad Class is hosting a 5km Run/Walk through
the trails of Rathtrevor Park. This event is open to participants of all fitness levels, and we invite
you to come out and join us for a morning of fun, exercise and beautiful scenery.
Registration forms are available in the Ballenas office and the cost is $15 and includes a t-shirt
(pre-registration is required, no registration on race day). Registration deadline is March 31st.
Attention: MATHLETES!!
Math competitions will be taking place soon. Please sign up for up-coming contests no later than March 12th.
