Ascension catholic school e-news FEBRUARY 5, 2015 Our basketball teams are working hard on the court every week! ATHLETICS NEWS FROM COACH AMICO  We love seeing our students playing team sports with their classmates! All of our basketball teams are in the middle of their seasons and the games this year have been incredibly exciting! Thank you to our parents and volunteer coaches who provide support and direction to our children. We love our Eagles!!   In basketball news our 6th grade girls team and our girls “B” team remain undefeated in both the SPC league and our Coastal Catholic League. They will be in action tonight along with our Boys “A” and “B” teams at Our Savior School in Cocoa Beach. The games start at 4:30 pm. Next week our Boys “A” and “B” teams play at Holy Name of Jesus. Games are Tuesday at 4:30 and 5:30 pm. Our Boys “A” team is 3-1 and currently second in the standings. Soccer gets started at MCC this Saturday. We have 10 teams competing. Games are at 9, 10 and 11. Softball and Boys volleyball get started in March. More info coming. CHRIST RENEWS HIS PARISH We joyfully invite all women of our community to the Christ Renews His Parish Retreat on March 7-8, 2015. Camp Invention is a national educational program recognized for fostering innovative thinking, real-world problem solving and the spirit of invention. The weeklong day camp experience encourages inventive young minds through hands-on problem solving, using science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a fun and creative atmosphere. The program is designed for students who will be entering grades 16 next school year. Early registration discounts are available for both alumni registrants and new participants.
