The excitement around the CPO continues to grow! The
Orchestra performs more than 80 live concerts each Season to
more than 120,000 people with music to fit all ages and tastes;
from classical giants to rock ‘n’ roll hits and family favourites, it is
the place to be! The CPO is a valued contributor in the community,
reaching over 20,000
people through its educational
performances and outreach opportunities for seniors, students
and those served by not-for-profit organizations.

begin closing at 9:45PM.
• Once the silent auction is closed the winning bidders’ names will be
highlighted and the bid sheet will be stamped “SOLD”… The item is
not “SOLD” until the stamp appears.
• Once the silent auction sheet is stamped “SOLD”, the winning bidder
may take the entire sheet to the treasurer’s table for payment. Please

FIRST COURSE
Maison Joseph Drouhin Laforet Bourgogne Chardonnay 2012
Chardonnay from various Burgundian appellations including Côte d’Or,
Chablis and Mâconnais. Bright, fresh and charming, the wine is beautifully
balanced with excellent structure complemented by lemon cream and a
fine thread of tropical fruit notes.

SECOND COURSE
Joseph Drouhin Pouilly-Fuissé 2013
A seductive wine and a really nice expression of the Chardonnay grape!
The color is golden, with some green reflections. Among the floral and
fruity aromas, almond and ripe grapes dominate. On the palate, the wine
is refreshingly pleasant, ethereal in its lightness. Long and refreshing after taste.

THIRD COURSE
M. Chapoutier La Bernardine Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge 2011
Alluring lavender, bay and savory notes lead the way, slowly melding into
the core of crushed plum, blackberry and black cherry fruit. Singed wood
and warm stone notes hang in the background, leading to an echo of
garrigue on the finish.

CHEESE BOARDS
Gérard Bertrand Grand Terroir Tautavel Rouge (Grenache Syrah
Carignan) 2010
Crafted from its Mediterranean grape varieties it comes in a deep, brilliant
colour with light brown flashes. The incredibly fruity nose with aromas of
soft red fruit and raspberry blossoms into complex, spicy notes. A lovely
initial taste with soft tannins and hints of the garrigue and spices.
DESSERT
M. Chapoutier Muscat Beaumes de Venise 2012
French dessert wine here with his Muscat de Beaumes de Venise. Using
the Muscat Petit Grains grape, the wine is delightfully sweet with notes of
candied fruits and flowers. A golden colour in the glass, the fruit is picked
at its optimum ripeness to create a wine wonderfully suited to sorbets and
fruit salads.

Bateman was always interested in art, but never intended to
make a living from it. He was fascinated by the natural world. In
his childhood he found inspiration from the Group of Seven as
well as making abstract paintings of nature. It was not until the
mid-1960s that he changed to his present style–realism. In the
1970s and 1980s his work started to receive major recognition.
In 1999, the Audubon Society of Canada declared Bateman one
of the top 100 environmental proponents of the 20th century.
