ABOUT KENYA CARDIAC ASSOCIATION (KCS)
The Kenya Cardiac Society is a non-governmental, non-profit making organization found in Kenya. Its
aim is to promote cardiac health and cardiac-related activities in Kenya. KCS also strives to improve
awareness of cardiovascular health and to encourage heart healthy living. The society has since grown
and is now a member of the World Heart Federation. It has more than 60 members, and has a wide
variety of activities.
Association Objective
 -To encourage, support and coordinate research into preventive and curative aspects of
cardiovascular diseases.
 -The acquisition and dissemination of knowledge and information concerning cardiovascular
disorders to members of the Society and the population in general by public media (T.V., radio,
newspaper), public lectures, publications and journal clubs etc.
 -To cooperate where possible with governments or other agencies in efforts aimed at the
improvement of cardiovascular health in Kenya.
 -To cooperate with international organisations in efforts aimed at the improvement of
cardiovascular heath.
 -Generally to do all or any things which seem directly or indirectly conductive to the attainment
of one or several of the foregoing objectives.
KCS CONFERENCE 2015
The 33rd conference of KCS will be held in June 2015.The conference aims to unite clinicians, nurses,
laboratory scientists and industry in a conducive environment to facilitate cutting edge learning
experience for all participants. Industry will have adequate opportunity to engage decision makers in the
cardiology community.
This conference is popular among clinicians and we project an attendance of over 200 participants from
all over Kenya and East Africa. The involvement of industry will go a long way in ensuring success of the

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. By returning this signed Sponsorship Agreement (“Agreement”), you agree to be a nonexclusive Sponsor of The KCS 33rd Annual Conference 2015 to be held at the
Travellers Hotel on the following terms and conditions set out below.
2. Sponsorship entitlements will not commence until the 60% deposit has been
paid in full. Deposit is due by 25th March 2015. Full payment is required by 30th July
2015.
3. Monies paid are non-refundable.
4. Please note that your requested category of sponsorship may have a limit to the number of
sponsors as specified in the documentation and preference will be determined in order
of receipt of the signed Agreement and deposit. The Conference Organizers will notify
you if you are unable to participate in your requested category.
5. The KCS 33rd Annual Scientific conference Committee must approve the size and content of
all inserts in the delegate packs.
6. Nothing contained in this agreement will be deemed to constitute a partnership, joint venture
or agency relationship between you KCS and/or the Conference Organizers and you
must not do anything where you will, in any way, be represented that you are a partner
of the KCS and/or the Conference Organizers.
