From the Chairman
We all regularly encounter work zone signs alerting us to construction areas that will improve the movements in our active
lives, and our 2015 convention theme “Midstream Momentum: Keep it moving!” is a perfect fit when taking into consideration all
of GPA’s dynamic efforts underway for our industry.
We have boosted our federal advocacy priorities with the addition of GPA staff in Washington, D.C., and will soon open our office
of federal affairs there. With those additions come big changes and benefits to our association and its members. This is a big step
for our industry and is an initiative you will want to hear more about at the convention. Keep it moving!
GPA’s voice is louder and stronger than it has ever been. Hopefully you’ve been keeping up with the comments we’ve been
filing with regulatory groups such as the Environmental Protection Agency, the Energy Information Agency and Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission regarding their proposals that could impact the operations of our member companies and the health of
our industry. Learn more about what’s happened and what’s ahead by attending, and keep it moving!
Our hardworking Program Committee has once again assembled an impressive program for our time together that covers hot topics within the
areas of international affairs, legislative and regulatory issues, safety, market information, operations and maintenance, technical sessions and research.
Committee meetings and forums are open to all attendees. The only way to take it all in is to keep it moving!
It has been several years since energy expert Amy Myers Jaffe has addressed our group, and we’re honored that she will be our keynote speaker for
Monday morning’s General Session. Amy will update us on the geopolitics of oil and gas and energy security, as well as share her thoughts on global
energy policy and sustainability. If you miss this general session, you’ve missed a lot. Keep it moving!
With more than 2,500 attendees representing more than 600 companies from the U.S. and around the world, the 2015 GPA Convention is THE place to
be when it comes to midstream matters. Networking opportunities are available throughout, beginning with Sunday’s golf and sporting clays activities
and continuing through Tuesday evening’s GPSA Party with featured entertainers The Swon Brothers and comedian Billy Gardell. Plus, sponsored
breakfasts, lunches and coffee and refreshment breaks allow informal meeting opportunities each day. To take full advantage of the fast-action schedule,

San Antonio is always a gracious host to our convention and attendees, as we take in the sights along the famous Riverwalk. Therefore, we know our
2015 gathering will be another huge success. We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us because, without a doubt, you will witness the best in
“Midstream Momentum. Keep it moving!”

vital industry statistics can be effectively communicated to these
agencies, then back to the industry and other interested parties,
while striving to protect proprietary company information. This
committee meeting is open to all convention attendees and will
be followed by speakers addressing relevant and timely industry
market topics and trends typically related to marketing natural
gas liquids. The topics covered are coordinated with the Tuesday
NGL Business Forum to provide a broad overview of market
conditions and prevent overlap between the two sessions.
