Precision Machining North Super Regional Date/Time: April 10, 2015 Saturday 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Doors will open at 8:00 AM) Location: Unified Technologies Center 2415 Woodland Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44115 216-987-3075 Orientation will be closed to instructors Purpose: To evaluate each contestant’s preparation for employment and to recognize outstanding students for excellence and professionalism in the field of precision machining technology. Clothing: Acceptable work clothes (button short sleeve shirt and pants) and leather shoes, no sweats. Students with long hair must use a hair net. Unsafe attire/actions may result in student not competing until properly/safely dressed. No school names may be displayed on any apparel. Contestants: 1 per school based pre-registration in December with SkillsUSA Ohio. Please note this is an Ohio only competition and winners will not advance to the National Leadership and Skills Conference. Medalist will be invited to the Awards Ceremony on April 15, 2015 in Columbus for recognition. Contestants cannot wear clothing or hats that contain the name of their school. 7. A Standard Scientific Calculator will be provided for the written/math test. Machinists Calculators will not be permissible on this test.
