To provide operational support to Elective Surgical Centre
To Co-ordinate a team on a daily basis
To provide support to the Charge Anaesthetic Technician and

Team Leadership

Is responsible for the day to day co-ordination of the Anaesthetic
Technicians and provision of service on a daily basis

Communicates with medical, technical an nursing teams effectively
enabling efficient use of resources and staff


Ensures that all equipment is safe and appropriately maintained to meet
service standards.
Provide support to the Senior Team Leader Technician in operational
matters and staff performance management.
Provide Support to Technician Educator as required and participate in
technician training
Attend any meetings and sit on any committees as deemed necessary
by the Charge Technician



for appropriate monitoring and care delivery

Back-up systems are in place and work when required.

To be a work base assessor to provide education to both qualified
Anaesthetic Technicians, Trainee Anaesthetic technicians and Nursing
staff

according to policy. This includes, but is not limited to; investigating,
analyzing, planning, reviewing and acting

Ensures Health & Safety policies are followed

Identifies priorities for the development of best practice protocols.



Information gathering processes are followed to collect patient, clinical
and volume information.
Able to report monthly on service performance.
Provides all relevant information upward to the satisfaction of the next
tier manager.
