SUNDAY MASSES
Vigil Saturday
Sunday
6:00 pm
8:00 am
10 am
6:00 pm
On the second Sunday of each month, at 11.00am, a Mass is celebrated in
Tagalog, the Filipino language.
WEEKDAY MASSES
Gospel John 2:13-25
Watch out for Jesus in today's gospel! He has come
up to the temple at Passover time and he is very
angry about what he sees there. So he brandishes a
whip to drive the money-changers and sacrificial
animals out of the temple. "Stop turning my Father's
house into a marketplace!" he says with frightening
authority. His disciples attribute his emotional
outburst to zeal or intense passion for the house of
God.
When the Jews ask him for a sign of his authority,
Jesus speaks of the temple of his body. He prophesies
that if they destroy this temple, he will raise it up in
three days. They do not understand that he is
speaking of his crucifixion and resurrection.
Does the fiery anger of Jesus surprise you? Why or
why not? Are there times when it is right to express
justified anger? How do you think believers should
show love and respect for God's house?
We thank Rossi family for donating the photos with
frames of the Pope & Archbishop in the foyer.

Thought for the Week
What being a Catholic means…
Catholicism involves daily commitment to embrace the will of
God – whatever it is and wherever it leads.
Altar Servers Formation :
All Altar Servers (Old & New) are invited to
attend the 1st formation this year on Friday, 13th
March 2015 in the church at 6pm.
Children who wish to become altar servers should
have received their sacrament of 1st Holy
Communion. If you have any questions pls call
Parish on 9604 8927.
Cooperation with God on the part of the believer. God
offers his divine grace, and the Catholic must accept it and
then cooperate with it.
Free will is sacred. God never forces you against your free
will. Yet doing evil not only hurts you, it also hurts others,
because Catholics are never alone. We are always a part of
a spiritual family called the CHURCH.
More than a space to go on the weekend to worship the
Church is a mother who feeds spiritually, shares doctrine,
heals and comforts and disciplines when needed.

PROJECT COMPASSION
This year’s Project Compassion
theme is “Food for Life”. This
theme explores global food issues
and how Caritas is assisting the
world’s poorest people to establish
sustainable food sources for life. This theme
also follows Pope Francis’ words, “It is a wellknown fact that current levels of production
are sufficient, yet millions of people are still
suffering and dying of starvation. This is truly
scandalous.” (Pope Francis).
