“Get Connected” Seminar with Brenda Aloff May 9th & 10th, 2015 Location: Michigan Dog Center Home of Kalamazoo Dog Training Club 6740 Quality Way, Portage, MI 49002 Cost: Working Spots $275 for both days Auditor: $75 per day About the Seminar Brenda approaches the subject of dog behavior with compassion, understanding, wisdom, and humor. She is down to earth with both her explanations and her teaching. Her seminars have always been very well received and have met rave reviews by her colleagues, her students and, we suspect, by the many dogs whose lives have been improved and even spared by what their owners have learned. The “Get Connected” seminar will focus on, but not necessarily be limited to, the following topics: the get connected protocol (a series of exercises designed to increase understanding and improve relationship), canine behavior, positive reinforcement and boundaries, body language, designing training challenges for your dog, overcoming technical reasons for noncompliance and emotional states during training. About Brenda Aloff Brenda Aloff is a professional dog trainer specializing in solving behavior problems. Much of her clientele consists of dogs referred to her when other methods have failed. Brenda has been published in Front & Finish, The Trainer’s Forum of the Association of Behavior Analysis, The Association of Pet Dog Trainers Newsletter, and numerous dog club and rescue newsletters. She is the author of Puppy Problems? No Problem - A Survival Guide for Finding and Training Your New Dog (and DVD), Get Connected with Your Dog, Canine Body Language- a Photographic Guide, Aggression in Dogs: Practical Management, Prevention & Behavior Modification, and Positive Reinforcement - Training Dogs in the Real World.
