About the Seminar
Brenda approaches the subject of dog behavior with compassion, understanding, wisdom, and
humor. She is down to earth with both her explanations and her teaching. Her seminars have
always been very well received and have met rave reviews by her colleagues, her students and,
we suspect, by the many dogs whose lives have been improved and even spared by what their
owners have learned. The “Get Connected” seminar will focus on, but not necessarily be limited
to, the following topics: the get connected protocol (a series of exercises designed to increase
understanding and improve relationship), canine behavior, positive reinforcement and
boundaries, body language, designing training challenges for your dog, overcoming technical
reasons for noncompliance and emotional states during training. Come experience the Brenda
Aloff connection.
Topics that will be covered



How to get the most from the dog and breed you love
How to motivate the experienced dog
How to motivate different temperament types including: the shy and sensitive dog, the
overzealous and anticipating dog, the pushy and reactive dog, the distracted dog or the
one that has poor work ethic.
