Volunteers in Honor of Cesar Chavez’s Birthday March 28; 10am-12pm & 2pm-4pm La Casa/Latino Cultural Center on the Indiana University campus, is looking to bring students together for a student-led volunteering day within nonprofits throughout the Bloomington community. This is in honor of Cesar Chavez's birthday and his selfless and philanthropic work to which he dedicated his life. Once we know how many will be participating, we can then assign locations. We are planning to have two hour volunteer shifts, one from 10:00 am -12:00 pm and a second shift from 2:00 pm - 4:00pm on March 28th. Through this position the individual will perform various analytical tests associated with the operation of plant, including pH balance, chlorine, turbidity, alkalinity, hardness, fluoride, aluminum, chloride, stability index, odor, and microscopic examination.
