2015 Application for a Scholarship
The goals of the Northw est Arkansas BYU Management Society, the “Society”, are:
To support and enhance the professional careers of society members through educational
and professional opportunities and contacts provided by society members, the Marriott
School, its alumni, and friends.
To provide community service in such areas and in such manner as deemed by the society
membership to be of most value to the local communities.
To strengthen and encourage the development of future business leaders who have strong
moral and ethical values, and who have skills and contacts to succeed in the business world.
To broaden and strengthen friendships and to promote the mutually supportive association
of men and women who share similar professional values.
INFORMATION:
All applicants must be from school districts within Benton or W ashington counties in Arkansas.
All applicants must be a high school student preparing for a 2015 graduation from their local
high school, a home-school student that will qualify for graduation in 2015, or a student in a
GED program that will complete the requirements for graduation in 2015.
All applicants must submit the completed application with all attachments to the Scholarship
Committee by midnight, Friday, March 13, 2015. Scholarship recipients will be announced on
Friday, April 17, 2015. All decisions are final.
All awarded Scholarships must be used within forty-two (42) months of May 31, 2015, or by
November 30, 2018. Any award not executed by that date will revert to the Society’s
Scholarship funds.
All awarded Scholarship money will be held by the Society until the start of the school year in
which the applicant begins classes.
All awarded Scholarship money will be paid directly to the applicant’s school of choice.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. A completed application form
2. Proof of admission to any school of higher education, specifically a university, college or trade
school.
3. Three (3) letters of recommendation explaining why the applicant should receive the
Scholarship:
One from a Teacher
One from a leader of a religious organization
One from a member of the community
4. Answer the following questions:
